What are the two main programs you provide?
On both Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 6:30-7, we have a meal that's provided by volunteers and there's basketball in the gym, and time for teens to hang out. Then after that, our programming starts. On Tuesdays, we break up into different support groups. Teens talk about what's going on at home, at school, with their friends.
What would you like youth to know about TreeHouse?
Being a teenager is really hard. At TreeHouse, we just want to provide a place where teens can get help and wrestle through some of the harder things about being a teenager. I just remember feeling like I was always in survival mode because I didn't feel like anyone had my back. At TreeHouse, we just want to make it a place where you don't have to feel like that.
