Hours: The building is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Programming for youth happens from whenever their school day ends to when the bus picks them up around 6 or 7 p.m.
Serves: After-school and summer programming is for kids in grades K-8.
Services provided: Perspectives provides three main programs for kids: Basketball in the Park, Kids Connection, and Kids Cafe.
Volunteer opportunities: Teens ages 16 and up can volunteer in Kids Connection or Kids Cafe.

basketball in the parkBasketball in the Park takes place during the summer at Ainsworth Park. Anyone can come and play basketball, kickball, and baseball with their friends and police officers. Kids can play on the playground, too. There are crafts and prizes.

kids connection & kids cafeKids Connection is an after-school program where kids can play outside, practice reading and math skills, do crafts, and have fun with friends. Kids Cafe happens after Kids Connection, where kids help prepare food and receive a free meal. After, a bus takes everyone home.
