How do you make myHealth a youth friendly clinic?
Because we just serve specifically teens and young adults, that’s one of our biggest focus points. We want to make sure all of our services can center around the needs of young people and meet them where they’re at. That includes anything and everything from the physical space when you walk in the door to our staff members and making sure they’re trained.
What if I can't pay?
We have a lot of people who will sign up for the Minnesota Family Planning Program. It’s a way where they could get sexual health care services and not have to pay anything. Sometimes you hear people say (the clinic is) a sliding fee scale that goes all the way down to zero — which means we would never turn anyone away. People can come and pay whatever they can afford.
