How does Meadowbrook Collaborative connect with kids?
If we have a group of kids hanging around outside, we pull them in and make a connection. Our work connecting with youth is very informal, and personal to whom is in need. Because we take the time to get to know youth personally, developing personal relationships as much as possible, youth find this a safe place to talk, share their problems, and hang out.
What would you like kids to know about your programming?
We've worked with thousands of kids over the past 20 years, and many who are now adults still keep in touch with us — valuing their experience. The oldest is 34. We are very proud of our kids and the time we've spent with them.
